I'm using WinXp and I just installed a Belkin 5 button optical usb mouse. In
control panel the mouse applet sees only two buttons, even after updating
with Windows update.

My goal is to get the system to see and control the buttons, so I can set
the functions in control panel, not the third party Browser Mouse program.

Please help if you can.

Thanks

Robert

You are using the standard drivers. You will need to install the enhanced
drivers for you Belkin mouse.

Thanks, but what are the enhanced drivers, and how do I get them? I went to
belkin's website and downloaded the drivers corresponding to the mouse model
number. No difference.

I'll go check the website and look for enhanced drivers. Any further help
would be great.

Thanks

Bill

Then, there should be a mouse control panel applet. Check inside that
applet to see if there is an enhanced button settings.
