Being Part of Forest Vs in a separte forest Pros / cons?

Hello everyone,

We are installting Windows 2003 server plus active dir. We are creating a
one forest and a few domains.

Question I have is that what are the pros and cons of having a domain
joining a forest (blonging to one forest) or having its own forest by itself.

For security reasons and controll mainly we like to have another sperate
forest that can hold a domain totally separte from the existing forest.

What are the valid points that can be argued with respect to having a domain
joinging an existing forest vs creating a brand new forest and creating a new
domain in that forest.?

Single forest, less overhead, easier to troubleshoot issues when accessing
resources between domains.

Multiple forest, only way to get true security separation between domains.
