Hi,

sometimes all of a sudden the '.' becomes a ',' when I type it on the
keyboard, be it alpha part of keyboard or numpad
Same behaviour in all programs tested once it appears ( first thought it was
related to one program I was running when it happened) : notepad, calc,
office apps etc

I have to reboot to recover normal keyboard behaviour.

Any idea as to causes and remedy ?

TIA

You sure that it's not your eye problem? :)

One thing I've noticed about the XP group, is the sarcastic mundane
egotistcial type of ppl who reside here.......

You Man-wai Chang have just forged that yet again, ..... and I aint
been for yonks............. and yours is only the second post i've
opened.

This group has a rep of being high n' mighty, and one to be avoided, even
though it should fly flags of assistance to those in need regarding the
new operating systems that are forced upon people via big-business.

Have a nice day "Man-wai-Chang", and may it shit on your house and
onto the dinner plate you are eating from....... preferably while its
on
the spoon just as it enters your mouth.

First make sure it's not a problem with the keyboard somehow sending a wrong
signal on occasion by susbstituting a different keyboard.

Try a different keyboard. If the problem goes away, discard the original
keyboard.
