"Beanie" font problem

I have installed "Beanie", a TT font, about 20 times and still can't get it
to work. If I try to type a document using it, the cursor is about 2.5
inches tall, even when set at 8. If I type in another font, highlight, and
try to change it to Beanie, the rest of the page (blank) gets highlighted
and the letters don't change. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that this is one of those fonts that is not really a font. It's
probably a series of small graphics that have been packaged up as if they
were a font. I have it too. Probably from some PSP tutorial or mailing list
that I was on years ago. It does not work with XP. I see no author or
company information in the file properties on my copy. If you have that
information on your copy, you could contact the author to see if they have
recreated the font for use with XP.
