I have outlook 2000. Is there a way to send a document as
BCC and not TO? I cant figure it out to save my life

With Outlook as the E-mail editor choose View-> BCC Field
You can also press the To button and add people to the BCC field this way

Tips of the month:
-Backup and Restore
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

I know how to send a message using BCC when I am just
sending. My question is specific to Rules Wizard. When
It gives me the option of sending to a distribution list-
I do NOT want to send it as a "TO" but rather as a "BCC".
There is no option to do that. Only to send as a "TO".

You can do it programmatically;

Great Rob- that is very helpfull- my problem is I have
over 60 different distrubution lists. Do you know if a
more recent version of Outlook DOES allow for this?
Perhaps if that is the case upgrading is the best thing
for me to do.

No, automatic BCC-ing by means of a rule is not possible in the latest
version either.

When exactly do you want to automatically BCC it?
-when a message arrives it should BCC it immidiately by means of rule
conditions
-when you send a message to someone it should also be BCCed to a DL

Additionally; is this an internal or external DL and are you connected to
Exchange?

Sure sounds like you need a bulk mailer rather than trying to adapt an
e-mail *client*. Yes, a screwdriver can be used as a hammer but not for
really big nails. www.slipstick.com might list a bulk mailer that you
might like.
