When sending out a mass email, is there a way to have the
recepient see there name only in the To: field?

Any help is appriciated.

Thanks

You would need to do a mail merge for that, rather than using the BCC field.
If you have Word installed and it's the same version as Outlook (both 2002,
for example), you can do the merge between the two. Or you can use one of
the many 3rd party mass mailing programs available. Look at the following
pages for further information:

Send the message to yourself in the TO field, and put the
group name in the BCC field. I assume you did set up a
group that contains the mass mailing addresses. The
recipient will only see there name in the TO field.

No, the recipients would see the SENDER's name in the To field if that's
what the sender puts there, not their own names. The O.P. would need to do
a mail merge to accomplish what he's asking.
