I have this text file in local settings/temp. It is being updated every
minute or so and the entry is always the same:

[06/02/2006 16:08:09] ------MCC Log file initialized!------
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] Alert Test Entry
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] keys length 2
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] keyss : 0, type: CHORUS_UPDATE
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] keyss : 1, type: DATA_FETCH
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] haveDataFetch: true
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] Calling write install data:
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] Finished Calling write install data:
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] haveChorusUpdate: true
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] V2 is NaN
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] NOT Showing chorus update
[06/02/2006 16:08:09] Alert Exit Code:0

Any information please about the process doing this?

All I have found on this was in german and I dont know german, but what I
got is that it is a program, called something like "Telenet Easycare" ..
well I dont want to erase anything, but I found out how to translate the
page lol.. the english version is http://www.telenet.be/en/klantendienst/
I honesly dont know exactly what it is, but it seems to be a provider
similar to AT&T or Comcast, as it provides internet, tv and telephone
services.

If you dont use them, I would probably find the program doing this and
disabling it or deleting it. Although if you do that, I recommend creating a
system restore point. (I have it set to create one daily, as I fiddle with
my registry and everything else a bit too much :P )

I think that was Flemish language from a Belgium site! Thanks for finding
it but I don't have any program related to Telenet so I'm still baffled by
what bbassistant is trying to do or where its coming from. I guess its
something to do with broadband so I'll start from there.

I'm posting in case anyone else wants this information.
bbassistant.log is updated by Motive Smartbridge as part of MCC (Motive
Chorus Command). This is used as a help application by several broadband
providers. The executable is matcli.exe which is called by the help
notifier in your startup section.
