battery

hi i posted here yesterday about my compaq armada m700 laptop the battery on it wont charge and the laptop wont take power of it this just suddenly happened yesterday anyway i logged on to the administrator and went to power supply and then clickked on ups uninterpiratal power supply and it seas that there isnt one and when i click on configure it wont let me click on nothing and it seas none

but when u click on the battery icon on the taskbar it seas the battery is connect and is on 34

whats wrone and ive already tried pressing fn and f11 and nothings happening please help

34% is low. If you have a nickel cadmium type, there's a known problem
with "memory" - you can be staring at 34%, and the battery thinks it's
empty. All batteries eventually quit taking a charge, though. Time for
a new one.

contact a compaq dealer nearest to you. you will probably have to give them
your laptop serial number and a battery code or number. its on the back of
ur battery - whole bunch of numbers, maybe about 18 digits or so. when u get
ur new battery do follow the conditioning process. its important. good luck.
