batch refresh thumbnails

Is there a way to update all the thumbnails in a file at
once? If I select more than one, I don't the refresh
thumbnail option when I right click.
 
Oddly, I can't test your suggestion to see if it works
for me because now the thumbnails are automatically
refreshing when I make a change the photos in photoshop.
I'll try it next time the no-refresh situation
appears..Oy computers!
