Batch Find & ReplaceAll help -- Steps needed

This command is exactly what I'm looking for
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/BatchFR.htm and I think that I
know how to create a global template (File/New/Template/etc.)
However, I have no idea where I'm supposed to be saving the code in
the template. Is it a macro? I feel like such a dork. Any guidance
is greatly appreciated.
