basms.exe (process running and I can't kill it!)

Any idea what the basms.exe process is and how I might remove it from a
machine? It constantly re-lauches itself. I have tried clearing the
registry and no luck. Can't find anything on the web about it. Bit of wits
end really.

Help is appreciated. I don't really want to format the machine!

Have you virus checked your system with the latest definitions for your Anti
Virus program?
