Basic question for today....

Hi there. I want to protect a document such that not only is the original
protected from update (done that), that if it is selected and pasted to a
new document the text is also unable to be altered. This is in Word 2003.

*Any* document that you can see can be copied. There is no security feature
that would prevent this.

About the only way I can think of is to print the document
to a jpg file using a utility like Snagit
(http://www.techsmith.com/products/snagit/default.asp). That
would prevent casual copying; although someone determined
and knowledgeable enough could get around it.
