Any one have experience with that ?

The probleme is my friend has a ibm thinkpad, but her boss
don't allow her to install anything on it, -the ibm belongs to
her emplyer (he fears viruses... althought she can connect on
56 k modem, but she has not the admin rights)

So she cannot install the usb drivers for the adsl abonnement
she suscribed ... i'm looking for a cheap solution : a 1 Go memory
stick is expensive ; but 512 Mo is not enought to put a windows
system on it, ot may be win 98 SE ? thanks for any suggestion,

laurent

If one of my employees deliberately tried to circumvent company rules
about company equipment then they would be summarily DISMISSED!! Be
careful.

The Employers Computer is for Business Use.

The Employee should purchase their own Computer for Personal Use.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming
"WOW, WHAT A RIDE"

Your work ethic philosophy appears to contradict your sig, or is it me?

A second hard drive can be switched without leaving evidence. It is
alot cheaper than a second laptop.
