Banner printing software?

Can anyone suggest some software that will blow up a page into a
banner and slice it into 8.5x11 sections for printing? I need
something that does more than a single row of pages.

I can do input in just about any format; tif, png. svg.
That should cover it.

Picasa's "Make a Poster" feature may do what you need.
