Bad Image

I right clicked on my desktop, selected properties
(because I wanted to change my Display settings- the
desktop. This is the message I got:

RUNDLL32.EXE - Bad Image
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSIMG32.dll is
not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your
installation diskette.



Does anyone know what this is? How can I get to change my
desktop background? I'm using Windows XP.
