bad block of CdRom0

I have problem with recording CDs. Before I could do it without any problem. nowadays I have a error message - "The device has a bad block of memory, which windows attempted to read. The data might be missing or corrupted". Im using windows XP Home edition. My computer is Toshiba satellite 1900-303
Should I download some new files. how can I resolve the problem. Please help! If You can please write me also on my e-mail

The last time I saw that error, I thought it was a problem with the CD or
the cdrom drive. Ended up to be a RAM problem: bad memory slot on the
motherboard.
