Backup

Need to back up Outlook 2007, about to format HD. i need to backup email
account details, email addy and passwords etc. and address book. NOT actual
emails
how is this done?

http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm tells you how to
back up your Outlook data (mail, contacts, calendar, etc.). That data is
all in one file. You'll need to do extra work to exclude your mail, unless
you're using an IMAP account.

The account information is kept in the Windows Registry and I don't know of
any way to back it up so that it saves your passwords in the process. You
can certainly back up the registry key containing your mail profile and
restore it after, but the passwords won't be saved.

The address book contains no information.
