Hi Folks,

I'm looking for backup freeware that will allow me to backup selected
files and folders to a DVD+RW. Desirable, but not essential, would be
incremental, unattended, scheduled backups to the medium.

Your experiences and recommendations would be valued.

Many thanks in anticipation,

Ken.

If you have your DVD drive set up so that you can just drag files to
it for burning, Karen's Replicator. I have it doing my critical
backups every Monday through Friday just before I leave work - one
copy to a backed up network drive and 1 to my USB fob drive. It backs
up what I told it to, everything I told it to, and nothing else - the
backup, the whole backup and nothing but the backup :).

You WILL have to replace disks every so often, :)

How do I set-up my DVD drive so that I can just drag files to

You have to already have a packet writing program such as INCD, DLA,
abCD, DirectCD. Once you have that, you just specify your DVD drive as
the destination and assure that you have a disc in it.
