backup network settings?

Is there a utility that will save your network settings? If not,
specifically what file(s) do I need to save to accomplish the above? Thanks,

Hi, Steve -

One that I found that looked interesting was Select-A-Net -

Most network settings are stored in the system registry - about the
only files you can back up are /windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts and
/windows/system32/drivers/etc/lmhosts but those probably aren't used on
your home network.

You could keep all the settings in a text file and store them somewhere
other than on your PC or just scribble them down on a piece of paper if
you like.
