I had to do a re-install of XP and backed up a lot of data, inluding
wav.files and graphics. After putting these files on disk I checked them
all, including playing some of the wav. files, to make sure everything was OK.
I have now re-installed the system but the DVD drive cannot read the data.
There is nothing wrong with the drive as it will read a commercial disk.
In effect, the drive that read, encode and played files yesterday won't do
it today.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
The data that I look like losing is pretty rare and precious stuff!!!
HELP!!!!
