Hi,

Can any one tell me how to back-up the updates (on to a cd) that have been
installed on my pc using the automatic update feature. Using windows xp pro
sp2- I'm not very computer literate and having to download them from a
dial-up is absoulte torture!

Thanks
James

James, look into a MS CD with the Updates on it. I know MS has one for
SP2. Check this site
http://www.hps.com/~tpg/win/updates.php
Once updates are installed automatically they are integrated into the OS.
You would need to download each one
and save to a CD which for you with dialup is not very practical.

You can't after they have been installed. You can download the updates
using the windows update catalog and save them to CD.
