Hi...

Two questions, actually:

1. If I were to get an external USB hd, could I back up both the contents of
my desktop computer (about 7 gigs of stuff) and the contents of a notebook
(about 5 gigs) to the same hard drive without partitioning the hard drive in
order to keep the data from the two computers separate? Sorry, if it is a
dumb question, but I don't know the answer.

2) How does one stop the annoying message balloon in the system tray
reminding that one can get automatic updates from appearing. I remember
seeing how to stop it on the desktop but the memory ain't what it used to be
and I forget the process necessary to put a stop to it.

Thanks in advance.

Hey David,

1. If you get USB HDD you can partition it into two seperate partitions
and you can name those partitions as Desktop and other partition as
Notebook. But you need to have 20 GB of USB HDD for better use. hope this
answer helps.

2. on your desktop goto my computer right click properties>Automatic
updates>uncheck the option Keep my computer..... and click on apply.
also for stopping baloon tips you can download tweakxp.....

Hope this helps you
