Backing up outlook

I'm sure this kind of question gets asked often enough, so hopefully,
someone can direct me to a link or something. I send and receive lots of
e-mails with sizable files attached and know that I am playing with fire
without backing up. I recall backing up about 6 months ago. Can someone
tell me where I would find such a backup file on my hard disk, so I'll know
I don't need to back that older stuff up again? Then, can someone tell me
how to back up everything after that last backup date?

I only need to backup my inbox and sent items. I don't really care about
the other stuff. My inbox and sent items have multiple subfolders and I'd
like to keep that same structure in my backup, if at all possible. If it
would fit, I'd like to make a backup on CDR, also.

Can someone help me with a SIMPLE way to do this? I really don't want to
know about how those super-organized folks do it, as I don't have the
discipline. Just a way to make a backup today, in case Outlook ever
crashes. And a way to make a copy on CDR, in case my computer ever gets
stolen. OK, if there is a really easy way to do a weekly backup, I might be
able to manage to keep that up!
