Backing up Outlook via .BAT

I run a .BAT file that copies a bunch of important files to a memory card,
and another that copies them to a different computer.

Is there a way to include Outlook data without exporting them from within
Outlook?

I want to automate my safety.

copy the .pst file.

copy the .pst file.

with Outlook CLOSED.

What happens if I copy it with Outlook open?

Maybe I should put a batch file in my startup folder that copies the .pst file
elsewhere, and when I run my backup, I backup that version.

You run a very good chance of corrupting the copy.

That's not a bad plan.
