Hi There

I have noticed there is the file named:

Outlook.pst

This is in the following location on my computer (Win XP Home edition):

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Can I simply copy this file to back up all my folders in outlook? If I
copied it and transferred it to another machine and overwrote that machines
Outlook.pst would I be using it as if it were my own version of Outlook?

Many thanks in advance for any help offered.

Regards

Ady

Yes but don't overwrite the file instead rename the old file on the target
machine (with Outlook closed) when you restart Outlook it will complain and
offer a browse box just point it to the new pst. Also check here for a
listings of files that you may also want to bring over
