Hi there, I am hoping that some one can help me with a little design problem
that I have...I have created and published a web for our club, it works well,
however the background pics have given me no end of grief!
I have resized them in all configurations and they tile when I set
them to 800 x 600. When I make them large enough to fill the page, they are
huge when viewed at 800 x 600 res. I am sure this an easy fix, but I have no
idea how to do it!
Is it possible to stop the backgound tiling when I have set the
backgound pic. size to 800 x 600 ? if not, then how can I set the page size
for my web to be viewed on all browsers? Is there a way to set it so it
re-sizes when viewed on a different browser? Thanks in advance for your
help, all ideas will be much appreciated!
I am using frontpage 2003.

Hi, Anne -

When a background image isn't big enough to fill a browser window the
image tiles from the top left - but I guess you figured that out ;-)

Although there are ways to force browser size on your readers maybe
it's a better idea to get the page to display correctly and not force
people's browser windows to resize? ;-)

Here's an idea - use a table to center the image and just use the
picture as a background image for that cell in the table? That will
center the image in the browser window no matter how big the browser
is.

Hope this helps -
