Background Image Doesn't Display in IE 6

I am having trouble getting FrontPage background graphics to display in
Internet Explorer. I thought it was my host, who complained about Front
Page extension issues.. I changed hosts. Same problem. However, the new
hosts tech support noticed the pages display properly in both Netscape
and another browser they use. Seems very peculiar that the Microsoft's
browser is having trouble recognizing Microsoft's Front Page features.

Last night I updated 2 of the pages. They displayed correctly.
Heartened, I jumped over to my main page. VOILA, the sand background was
there. But my joy was short lived. This morning, the backgrounds
graphics are gone again. (Background COLOR does display correctly on
another page.)

I thought maybe moving from Front Page 2000 to 2002 might straighten out
the problem. It did not.

Is there something in my Explorer 6.x settings that controls whether
background graphics in a Front Page theme are displayed?? Should I pony
up the $35 to have Microsoft walk me through whatever this conflict is???

THANK YOU FOR ANY LIGHT YOU CAN SHED.

In IE make sure you have Tools Internet Options Advanced to Show Pictures

But also make sure the image link in FP is correct (location and CaSe)
Provide a URL to the site for us to look at to let you know if we see it

Hi Judy,

Save your $35 - I'm sure this is something simple. If you can give us a url
to the offending page one of us should be able to see whats wrong.

The options are set correctly, I believe. Plenty of other pictures show.
It's just the dang background.
I'm not sure about the "image link." This is a THEMES choice. I just
clicked some choices, did not do any linking or coding myself.

Here are 2 URLs:
www.JudyBarrett.com
www.LedKaapana.com

As I said, they look fine on my computer in Netscape. The host's techie
described them perfectly in another browser. But in my Internet Explorer
I get blank background. I am utterly mystified about why the backgrounds
both did briefly display properly just after moving the LedKaapana site.

THANK YOU!!!!

Both backgrounds are there and visible to me
The images are there too at:

Stefan, do you have any idea why they don't display on MY computer? I
can see them in Front Page. I saw them for a few glorious minutes the
other night. I can see them if I use Navigator. The color background on
a 3rd website displays.

I take it case sensitivity and coding are not a problem and I don't seem
to have much trouble viewing any other sort of graphics. The navigation
buttons show the color/pattern/texture I've chosen. There must be some
setting in IE that's mucking up the display, no?

I truly appreciate your help. I may have to break down and spend $35 and
half a day on the phone with Microsoft.

Make sure you have all your graphics drivers and directX up to date, plus you can try a repair of IE

I can't believe it......I figured it out.

My pop-up blocker, Ad-Subtract Plus, blocks the background graphics. As
soon as I turn it off, I get the page displaying correctly.

But, Stefan, thank you SO much for getting the wheels spinning!
