Unless you have next to nothing on your drive, there's no way you can come
close to fitting the entire contents of your hard drive on any flash drive
on the market today.

What do you mean by a "FULL system backup"? Do you mean an identical
copy of your hard disk? If so, you'll need disk imaging software (Image
for Windows, Ghost, True Image, etc.)

You won't be able to save it on your flash drive. Not yet, at least.
They aren't big enough.

yeah i have a 40gig flash drive, it will fit, but there is no way to copy my
harddrive to it?

There's no such thing, as far as I know. Please let us know the brand and
model of this drive, as well as how much ot cost..

but there is no way to
copy my harddrive to it?

Sure. There is lots of drive imaging software available. My personal
favorite is Acronis TrueImage.

No one makes a 40GB flash drive. The largest current flash drives that are
commonly available are 16GB.

Perhaps you mean you have an external drive...

There is no such thing as a 40GB Flash drive!

You probably have a 40GB external drive, but it most certainly is *NOT* a
flash drive.

Try going into My Computer and right clicking on your main drive.
Choose properties and tools, then backup now. Navigate to your flash
drive if it is connected to your computer. The files should now back up.
