I am reconfiguring my HP Pavilion 8650C (klez virus
attacked and Norton Antivirus was corrupted, even after a
NAV reinstall.). I need to save all my Outlook files (from
Office 97 Professional Edition), i.e., Contact, Calendar,
Email, Journal, Notes, before I reconfigure the hard drive
and reinstall all the software again. (I'll save my files
to a CD and run Norton Antivirus before I put them back on
my newly reconfigured hard drive.)

Q: Which file and/or extensions do I need to save in order
to keep all my Outlook data?

Thanks! --DC--

just the .pst file for your files and .pab file for any address books you
might of created.

So the .pst file contains all my calendar, memo, email,
notes, and journal info? Thanks, John!

Yes. Look here for all the information you need on backup and restoration
of Outlook data:
