What is the easiest way to back-up messages and the address book in Outlook
98? Is it any easier in the newer versions of outlook?

All versions of Outlook use the .pst file to store every item contained in
Outlook. See this page for complete backup information:

Hi All,
It's amazing how complicated simple things can be. I'd like to use my
address book from my laptop Outlook 2000 SR-1, WindowsXP on another computer
of the same, but repeated trying for over an hour Outllook only repeats that
the new pst file is not a personal folders file. Yet it IS the pst file
found in the expected location, copied to CD then to the new computer. I do
not find a *.pab file on my laptop.

Suggestions appreciated.
:)
Gil
