Easy CD Creator Utility without and difficulties?
Unless you've found a feature in Easy CD that I missed, the program creates
exact copies of your files. Restoring the files is a simple matter of
copying them from the CD to the hard drive. After copying the file back,
you may have to remove the Read Only attribute (that was added when the
file was written to CD) before the file will work correctly and before it
can be edited.
Easy CD is a good tool for creating backups of your data files.
It is not appropriate as a system backup tool. It is not the perfect tool
for backing up *installed* programs. However, it can be used for creating
copies of downloaded installation files. These copies are good to have on
hand if you you ever need to reinstall a program and downloading the setup
files a second time around is not feasible or convenient.
