B2B in a Box is read-only need to add company info

DOWNLOADED B2B in Box software and can't open Presentations to add my
company information. Presentations are read-only. Pop-up States the following
The file you tried to open may not be a Microsoft Office Power Point file
(ppt.).
Check the original file to determine the file type.
 
I know that you know what B2B in Box software is, but I don't. What did you
download? Where did you download it from? What version of PowerPoint are you
using?

I'd check with the software's developer. Perhaps those are password protected
files. If so, you'd need the password to open them (and PPT 2000 and older
wouldn't be able to open them at all).

The developer should know.
 
The B2B in a Box is a loan originator marketing system which when used (has
to )
with PowerPoint is writable. I have PowerPoint 2003 Upgrade and XP installed.
I downloaded from CD into PowerPoint
 
As Steve recommended, give the B2B people a call or send them an email. Before
you do that, however, have you applied Service Pack 1 to Office 2003? If not,
that is likely the problem. Go to Help > Check for Updates and follow the
links.
