Hi -

I'm trying to switch my default operating system from Open Office to
Windows, mainly because I have a lot of Word documents that I cannot open
properly. I also want to keep my fies safe. I would really appreciate any
help on how to do this.

Open Office is not an operating system...its a program
Windows XP is an operating system.

You need to purchase a version of Microsoft Office
and install it.

What's in the Office 2003 Editions?

Hi -

Thanks for replying, I wasn't too clear with my question.
New Question: I have Windows XP installed in my computer. However my Word docs
continue to be opened in OpenOffice. I need this to stop, or get Open Office
entirely off my computer, with their docs transffered into Word.

Much appreciated

Uninstall Open Office?
