Thanks, Jim. It worked fine. I was having the same problem, repeated bad checksum
messages.

In general, with S&D updates, will this link work in the future?

Yep.
'geeks seem to get it first and it never does the bad-checksum thing :o)

I have found that certain servers repeatedly do this. After you select
Search for Updates, the list of updates displays in the Spybot window.
Before you click Download Updates, change the server to Safer Networking
Europe. That one seems very reliable. If you get a bad checksum message,
change to another server and try to download the update again.

Indeed. And change the server to the appropriate _after_ having checked
whether there were some updates because the update_check operation
modifies the selected server at random.

When you have your preferred download server set, right click on the server
name, then select the obvious. :)
I use Safer Networking #2 (Europe), and have had no problems, for a long
time.

As you guessed, I hadn't seen this. Thank you !

That's the one which I downloaded the latest reference file with.

Similar experience to bambam's. Safer #2 has been very consistent.

Thanks for the info.
