avg free edition removal of prog

If I uninstall the AVG Free edition and how can I make sure that there will
bw no conflict or I will not have any problem installing another Anti virus
programe such as Norton Anti Virus say, thanks

You can't. It is not wise to run two anti-virus programs at once.

It's OK, however two install two, as long as you don't enable simultaneous
scanning by both.

AVG Free "seems" to clean itself off correctly when you un-install it.


However, most people state that AVG Free is the better antivirus than Norton
or McAfee.
 
In the "Add and remove", I see there are Windows xp hotfixes with the usual
icon (monitor,cd) in front
but there are other hot fixes, example which have the AVG icon in front
followed by (Windows xp hotfix (sp1)(see Q329834 for more information)

why is that? What is the implication if I uninstall the AVG program? Does it
also remove these "avg" icon hot fixes too? Please shade some light, thanks
