average & iserror formula

Example:
Have a column (e1:e9) that is totaled in cell e10
Cell e11 is a average of e1:e9
But if no numbers it returns a error, so how do I have e11 return
0.0?
I think it is a nested formula with the iserror..but I cant figure ou
how..help please,

=IF(COUNT(E1:E9)=0,0,AVERAGE(E1:E9))
