Average in a report

How do I take a series of numbers in a record, grade1, grade2, grade3,
and get their average, and them, to show in a report?

Do you have fields named Grade1, Grade2,... I would normalized the table so
that each score/grade was a record in a table rather than fields. Is this a
possibility for you?
