Average Function

Hi ! does anyone know why when i use the AVERAGE Function on an excel
column that contains text,blanks and numbers i get something like
1.28102E+49 as answer.

Help would be very much appreciated..thanks in advance.

Angel,

We would have to see your entire column of data to better understand what
AVERAGE is doing, and why the answer is not what you expect.

The cell is in Scientific format.
Right click the cell, pick Format Cells..., pick the
Number tab, pick Number.
