Avast error message?

I've been using Avast & Outlook 2003 for sometime now. Lately I frequently
get an Avast error message "Internet connection timeout elapsed. Continue
waiting? (OUTLOOK.EXE - pop.east.cox.net: 110) YES/NO". Everything seems to
be working fine (internet is via Cox Cable). Any ideas?

I've been getting that too on occasion. Using OE. I think it occurs when
you send a very big email. Is that when it happened for you?
