Avast! Anti-Virus fails to update

I am using the free Avast anti-virus (build 4.7.844, June 2006) on my
system (WINXP Pro, SP2 and all critical updates). For several days now the
program has failed to update itself (error message says 'can't select any
server for downloading from 0). Is anyone else experiencing this? My
registration is valid until 06/01/07.

Note: this has happened in the past, and the only solution was to re-
install. I'd like to avoid that if possible.

A reinstall seems like the best bet, but you might try posting here:

http://forum.avast.com/

and see if they have a solution for you. Otherwise it might be a bug
that needs attention.
