Autotext for subscripts

I use Autotext entries for writing subscripts
and superscripts.
So, when I type _n, it gets replaced by a subscript "n",
and when I type ^n, I get a superscript "n".

But after Word does the replacement, it leaves the
cursor in subscript or superscript mode, which is almost
never what I want.

Is there any way to make the Autotext entry flip me
back to "regular" text mode, rather than leaving me stuck
in subscript or superscript ??

thanks

Those would be AutoCorrect entries, not AutoText. You could try adding a
space that is not formatted as Superscript/Subscript, but I don't guarantee
that will work, and it might cause more trouble than it is worth.

I discovered myself that typing Control+Spacebar gets
me back to "normal" mode. Good enough. Thanks.
