Hi, i would like some help here. My Windows XP often shuts down automatically and it displays this message
"
The system is shutting down, please save your files...this is initiated by NT Authority\System
Windows must now restart because the remote procedure call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly"

How can i solve this problem, thanks

Please reply to this group or email me privately on (e-mail address removed). thanks ! =)

this happened due to the blaster virus that is active on the internet. for
more information on how to savely remove the virus. refer to this web site.
be sure to fully update your windows XP version after you savely removes the
blaster virus. fully scan your computer with the most up to date virus scan.
if you do not have one.. go to this site

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html

it won't remove the virus, but it will tell you the exact name of the virus.
there are additional removal tools that you can find in the download section
on the same page you are scanning for the virusses.

good luck
