I am also having the same problem as others. I had
Yoogee hijack my browser and I removed it but now I
cannot do a search from the address bar. I have
researched everywhere possible and reinstalled my IE6 but
cannot search. Very frustrating. Please help

This does not work. I want to type of word or phrase
directly into the address bar field and hit enter but I
get message page cannot be displayed.

Same here. Did not know Yoogee was what did it but come to think of it that
did become my default search engine just before this problem. Any fixes out
there?

Kelly has some search fixes on her tweaks page. Line 222, "restore
address bar search".

If you want to search from the Address bar you must
prefix your search data with a question mark (?)
or with either of the words find or go
otherwise anything you enter will be treated as a partial URL
and an attempt made to connect to that "site".

Press F1 and enter
search AND find NEAR go
on the Search tab for more information

BTW you can find applications which will allow you to avoid
typing those commands but they seem not to work transparently
enough to be worth the "value" they provide. Additionally they
almost invariably seem to obtain their value by operating as "spyware".
Search others posts with the words spyware or parasites for
examples of this "feature" if you really want to have it.
