I have a fresh installation of XP Pro but cannot get Autoroute Express to
install. It stalls after beginning the installation and leaves some of the
files when closed with windows task manager.

How can I complete the installation?

Did you follow the install instructions when you first tried? You disabled
other software like anti-virus- this can cause the problem you have.

As to installing it sounds like you'll need to remove *all* of the left over
registry entries first. Uninstalling doesn't remove them all and the left
over ones can interfere with an attempted reinstall. Remember messing with
the registry can stop your computer from running so back it up and be
careful to remove only related entries. It can be quite surprising how much
gets left behind.

**And before you attempt an installation again read the installation
warnings, they are there to help you, and disable any anti-virus protection.
