I use both the 2000 and XP editions (have done since August) and have not
had any issues.

Used them for the last few months, seem to be perfect so far.

Well, the updates are from microsoft, just repacked. Works perfectly for me,
just be carful about Java, it installs Java 5.0 runtimes, and some web sites
(such as yahoo games) work only with old 1.4.2 Java.

I have been using Autopatcher 2000 since the October 2004 release, and have
loaded several systems without a problem. It is well worth installing
Autopatcher verses hunting down and installing Microsoft's numerous updates
manually. I would also suggest you download Belarc Advisor (freeware) @
http://www.belarc.com/ as it will tell you which patches have been applied
and which may be missing.

Good Luck!

Works very well. Take the time and read each update before you select it
to be installed. One example is an update which resolves a problem when
trying to install SP2. Guess what, this update is still available to be
installed even when SP2 has been successfully installed on the computer.

I would also make a backup [ applies even when you update your computer
using Windows update ] since you never know when an MS update may cause
you more harm then good [ like the last batch of updates did ].
