AutomationElement.FocusedElement on non focused window

Hi,

How would I get the AutomationElement that currently has the focus on a
window that currently does not have the focus?
AutomationElement.FocusedElement does not seem to be doing the trick.

Nor AutomationElement.Current.HasKeyboardFocus seem to be of much help
either. Any ideas?
