Automation error

I have a command button that I want to code in the OnGotfocus event but when
I click on Event Procedure I get a message box that says "Automation Error"
What's this? I've looked at Help and it doesn't help!

I think the database was corrupted I have imported all the forms etc to a
new blank database and it's worked.
