Is there any way one can automate the following and if so
how would one go about doing it?
This is what my current manual process is - I
want it to be more automated as it takes me a lot of time

1. I email the HTML page to attendees who reply which
session they want to attend - there are 2 in wellington
and 1 in auckland - they respond via an email
2. I then record their attendance on my excel spreadsheet
which has their email addresses
3. I then send them a calendar invitation so it gets in
their diaries
4. On the week of the forum I email them a reminder - I
get this list of ails from my excel spreadsheet (copy and
paste into a modified html email)
5. I also print out an attendance list which I get from
my excel file - to tick off at the door
6. I then update my excel spreadsheet as to who actually
came to the forums - to get an idea of attendance rates
7. My excel spreadsheet contains info for ALL the forums,
so I have a reporting tool in it
Do appreciate all responses.

Yes, you can automate all of it.

It will require the interaction of Outlook, Excel etc using office
automation.

From what you have said, it will take some time to accomplish but ought to
be worth it in the end.

If you want info, either post again or email me removing the obvious.

Hi Dave
Thanks for your reply. Yes I would definitely appreciate
your assistance in setting this up. Please advise what if
any further information you require and what do I need to
do. Cheers

Hi Dave
Wasn't sure whether or not I had sent this back or not
but will try one again. Do you think you could reply
back to me at my home address which is
(e-mail address removed)
Do appreciate you taking the time and effort in guiding
me through this whole set up exercise. Cheers

Never a good idea to post a real address in a newsgroup message, unless you
_enjoy_ getting SPAMmed.
