automatically using dial up

After I installed windows firewall everytime I want to connect to internet my
computer automatically tries to dial up using a PPP account. The problem is
that I also have wireless connection and I would like to manually select when
I want to use the dial up instead of wireless. When I'm connected wireless
the computer automatically uses dial up, the proram freezes and it takes
longer than usual to run the computer. I've tried setting up using internet
explorer and dial up properties the option of not connecting automatically to
internet using dial up but is not working.

So you chose "Never dial a connection" and it isn't working? Double check.
