Hello all

I am using office 2000. I have a word document with several links to tables and graphs in an excel file. The word file serves as a standard that other people can copy and use for themselves. The problem is, that when you copy the files, the links point to the original excel file instead of the copy.
I know you can update all links one by one, but that is a rather time consuming process. Is there a way to update all references to excel tables and graphs by just specifying the new location of the source file once? How can this be done with a macro or VBA? Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Jeroen,

Check out my Field Link Updater, at:

It's a Word document with a macro for automating the link updating process.
Cheers
